There are 2 main problems with the Michelin 125 x 15 tyre

1. It’s a common problem that the side walls crack after a number of years, which is an MOT failure.
2. The price, as it is Michelin they can charge a premium for their brand name.

In our opinion (over 32 years of experience) we recommend the MCC tyre as it is extremely good in the dry or wet. We have fitted the MCC tyres for many years and had no problems. They are excellent value plus I have them on my own Dyane and 2cv.
