This page features our prototype EV Burton and we aim to have it ready for customers to purchase mid to late summer 2025.
The EV Burton is built on a unique purpose built aluminium chassis with the battery pack installed between the chassis rails. This Electric Burton will therefore have an extremely low central of gravity.
The standard Electric Burton will have a 15 Kwh battery pack with an option of upgrading to a larger 25 Kwh battery.
We do not have any official range test yet, but our 2cEv with a 10 Kwh battery will do 65 miles.
Our current estimate is 100 miles for the 15 Kwh battery pack and 165 miles for the 25 Kwh battery pack.
The prototype is currently a 4×4 with two 7.5 Kw electric motors. one powering in the front wheels and the other powering the rear wheels.
The standard version of the Electric Burton will be front wheel drive with one 15 Kwh motor.
As Standard the EV Burton will come with a 3kw on bored charger which will charge the 15Kwh battery from 10 to 80 % in aproximately 3.5 hours.
A 7Kw on-board charger is also an option which will charge the 15Kwh battery pack from 10 to 80% in proximately 1.5 hours and the 25 Kwh battery pack in 2.5 hours.
At this moment in time we will only be offering a factory built Electric Burton. In 2026 we are planning to offer a self build Electric Burton.
All our factory built electric Burtons will be registered as NEW vehicles.
