MCC are the only company that have access to Original Citroen tooling to rebuild a 2cv engine. You can use unleaded petrol 98, you do not need to use an additive but if you choose to do so then use every 3 fillings.

DO NOT use synthetic oils, ONLY use multigrade oils, such as 20W50.

This engine is an EXCHANGE unit. For recycling reasons it is essential that we have your old engine back. There is a surcharge of £350 for this which will be invoiced to you separately at the time of ordering (we will not dispatch your order until we receive payment for the surcharge) however the surcharge will be fully refunded once we receive your old engine. Before you send us your old engine, please drain all oil and remember to take off any components you will need to fit your new engine.

The warranty on this engine is 6months.

Below is a list of operations carried out to our engines:

• Completely dismantle the engine and clean thoroughly
• We rebuild the following items (depending on their condition): Crankshaft, Camshaft, Right & Left Engine Casings, Right & Left Cylinder Heads & Oil Pump
• We fit the following items to our rebuilt engines: New Seals throughout, New piston rings, New oil cooler & New Valves
• We then test all of our engines by hand first to check everything is in working order then we test on a bench by heating it up, getting them started and we check for leaks & noises.
