A new engine with big bore cilinders should be run in carefully for at least 2000 km. In this period, keep your speed at or under 80 km/h (about 4000 rpm). After 1000 kms the valves need to be adjusted and oil needs to be changed.

This engine is an EXCHANGE unit. For recycling reasons it is essential that we have your old engine back. There is a surcharge of £350 for this which will be invoiced to you separately at the time of ordering (we will not dispatch your order until we receive payment for the surcharge) however the surcharge will be fully refunded once we receive your old engine. Before you send us your old engine, please drain all oil and remember to take off any components you will need to fit your new engine.
